The Kalmar Eco Reachstacker 2.0 has many new features that help put you in control as you have the choice to operate your machine exactly the way that you want. The choice to operate in full power mode or choose to be as eco-efficient in the way your machine is operated. The more eco-efficiently you operate your machine, the less fuel you will use and the less carbon emissions you will produce.
You now get a choice of three different optimized drive modes, Eco Mode which will guide your operator to be as energy efficient as possible reducing noise and air pollution as well cutting your fuel consumption. Or Normal Mode with subtle guidance that encourages your operators to be a little easier on your equipment and a little more energy efficient, and there is Power Mode which allows your operator to work at peak power.
Our three new brake modes allow you to select the right level of braking for the task at hand. Eco Mode helps your operators to be as eco-efficient as possible when driving at low speed as it automatically uses smooth hydrostatic braking when the foot is taken off the drive pedal, while Normal Mode provides subtle engine braking when the drive pedal is released and Dynamic Mode provides a OnePedal Drive, automatically braking when the drive pedal is released.
With SmartSteer you can operate your equipment in Eco Mode which guides your operator into driving as efficiently as possible by using less steering, reducing tire wear, fuel consumption, noise and air pollution. Or you can choose Normal Mode which provides subtle guidance and helps your machine become a little more energy efficient and there’s Comfort Mode that gives your driver has complete control over the steering.
With OptiSpeed you can drive slowly and still handle loads quickly as the variable hydrostatic drive is able to split the power between the two tasks, giving you all the power you need to move your loads without having to maintain high engine speeds while moving slowly backwards or forwards.
We have improved the oil filter and now added a cold start valve and more robust larger filter cartridge making this machine even more reliable, plus we have improved the serviceability and diagnostics so any issues can be identified and rectified quickly.
