Kalmar E-One² SmartPower RTG

The Kalmar E-One² SmartPower RTG uses up to 2.6 gallons less fuel per hour than a conventional RTG, thanks to its significantly smaller diesel engine and intelligent power management system. In typical applications, handling from 9 to 18 containers per hour, the E-One² SmartPower RTG provides the perfect balance between productivity and cost efficiency.

Unrivaled performance with lower fuel consumption

The E-One² RTG combines the best of diesel and electric technology for excellent fuel savings, low emissions, and easy maintenance. It features a low-emission diesel engine and an all-electric trolley, wheel turning, and spreader Because it uses no hydraulics, servicing is straightforward, and there are fewer components to inspect and maintain. The E-One² RTG's maintenance interval of 1,000 hours is the industry's longest. The optional variable speed generator enables fuel consumption savings of up to 45% by automatically optimizing the engine's RPM according to the required power. This innovative technology can reduce CO2 emissions by 110 tons a year compared to a conventional RTG, based on a fuel consumption level of 5.5 gallons of fuel per hour and 4,000 operating hours a year.
