Forklift trucks 20,000-40,000 lbs.

The Kalmar DCG90–180 forklift truck is designed to offer you the best possible return on investment over its entire lifespan. Ideal for demanding applications such as steel and wood handling, this next-generation forklift combines low fuel consumption and superior lifting performance with easy maintenance and excellent reliability.

Performance at its best

Kalmar’s G-generation forklifts feature the latest in fuel-efficient technology and offer low total cost of ownership. For demanding applications such as steel and wood handling, they provide the best possible return on investment.

The DCG90–180 is designed for superior uptime, lower fuel consumption, and reduced maintenance costs. The DCG90-180 is available with the latest generation of engines from either Volvo or Cummins. They both meet the requirements of Tier4i emissions standards.

The DCG90-180 is equipped with a variable hydraulic pump as standard. The variable pump significantly lowers the strain on the hydraulic system and enables the forklift to fully perform when needed. This feature has also been proven to lower the fuel consumption of the machine, but at the same time improve the performance.

As these machines are often used in the toughest of environments, we have improved the cooling system of the DCG90-180. A variable hydraulic fan keeps the engine and hydraulics cool, even during the most extreme operations. The fan can also be reversed, to clean the cooler of dust and dirt.

Our most productive driving environment ever

For operators, our EGO cabin provides an outstanding driving environment, packed with features that support productivity, efficiency, and safety. The curved front and rear windows give exceptional visibility at all angles, particularly diagonally, and the profiled beams eliminate blind spots. The whole interior has been designed with the driver in mind. More or less everything is adjustable, to suit all kinds of drivers. For example, the steering wheel can be adjusted at every possible angle; it can even be tilted sideways. Operators will also benefit from a fully integrated, rotatable seat. Perfect for handling large wood stacks.

A smoother ride

The DCG90-180 is also available in a Big Wheel version suitable for rough terrain conditions.
We developed Big Wheel to give you a smoother ride. Equipped with oversized front wheels, these forklifts allow you to work efficiently and comfortably, even when surface conditions are poor. You get superb traction and can work productively in rough conditions where high ground clearance is required. The big tires also provide excellent suspension when driving over uneven surfaces.

All-round excellence

Low fuel consumption
The advanced engine provides maximum power and torque at low rpm, which means improved fuel efficiency without compromising reliability, durability, or performance. The new variable hydraulic system and modern lifting equipment can reduce fuel consumption by up to 18% compared to its predecessor, the DCE90-180.

Excellent lifting performance
The modern electric and hydraulic systems ensure fast response and better control. New variable hydraulic pumps increase productivity by enabling faster lifting speeds.

Reversible colling fan
An optional reversible cooling fan keeps the radiator clean of potentially harmful dust, dirt, or particles. A perfect option for sawmills or other dusty environments.

Faster, easier maintenance
The electrical cabinet is easy to access for maintenance, and all the hydraulic oil filters can be accessed from a single location. Tilting the cabin and opening the engine cover exposes the entire power train, and all checkpoints for daily inspection are easily accessible at ground level.

Turnable driving seat
DCG90-180 can offer a 180-degrees turnable driving seat. A perfect option for safe operations when handling bulky goods.

Reliable electronics
The DCG90–180 features a fast, intelligent, and stable electronics system that is reliable and easy to maintain. It has fewer connection points and cables compared to older systems, and features a distributed and redundant CAN bus that monitor the condition and performance of the engine, control units, gearbox, valves, and more.
